Avar Raza (born December 29, 1987 in Sulaymaniyah, Iraq) is a Danish footballer of Iraqi-Kurdish origin who formerly played as a striker for FC Copenhagen.
Avar began his career by Boldklubben Frem, played here 20 games and scores 9 goals in the reserve and Youth Squad. Later was scouted from Kjøbenhavns Boldklub. He played in the F.C. Copenhagen Reserve team until the end of the 2007–08 season. The Offensive player plays currently for SV Schermbeck in the German Regionalliga.
His family moved to Denmark from Iraq when he was 9 years old.
